In the past, physical examinations and immunizations were required for kindergarten, fifth, and ninth grade students. Starting for the 2008-2009 school year, physical examinations and immunizations must be up-to-date according to the State of Illinois requirements PRIOR to the first day of school for kindergarten, sixth and ninth grades. Students entering sixth grade who had health exams last year are not required to receive another this year. Students must provide proof that these requirements have been met prior to attending classes starting Wednesday, August 20, 2008. This also applies to any newly enrolling students, regardless of the student's grade level.
