Strategic Goals
Student Learning
- Continue to review and refine District Curriculum with additional emphasis on instructional technology, diversity, and character development.
- Explore and provide opportunities for student led, project-based, cross-curricular learning.
- Review to maintain balance between vocational and college preparatory offerings based on the needs of students.
Teacher Quality
- Provide highly qualified, caring, compassionate teachers who will form relationships with students to enhance learning.
- Provide teachers resources necessary for success.
Safety
- Create and develop an anti-bullying campaign with specific intervention programs.
- Create a safety and security committee.
District Spending/Funding
- Strengthen student learning through balanced programs that are supported by technology, facilities, and other resources.
- Provide competitive salaries, benefits, and support to attract, and retain high quality personnel.
- Establish a multi-year financial strategy which includes additional sources of revenue to support and enrich educational programs and services.
Communication
- Increase opportunities for improved communication between staff and students.
- Increase opportunities for more school/home communication at middle school and high school.
Promote interactive communication between school board, families, community, business, media, and schools.
