Welcome to Edison School, the proud home of approximately 375 students in grades 4-6, located in the West Central Illinois town of Macomb, home of Western Illinois University. A community of 20,000, Macomb is the county seat of McDonough County and is located approximately 35 miles east of the Illinois, Iowa, and Missouri borders. We are one of five schools in Macomb Community School District #185, a district which serves approximately 2,000 students Pre-Kindergarten through grade 12. The 50 staff members at Edison work hard to uphold the district mission statement:
