MacArthur has four Preschool Special Education classrooms for children with special needs, three full day and four half-day sessions. Preschool serves children who have been identified as having special needs (i.e. developmental delays).

Half-day sessions consists of a maximum of ten children and at least two adults. Two full day sessions blend 4 Special Education students with eleven Prekindergarten at risk students.  We offer a variety of services to meet individual needs of children including physical, occupational, speech, vision and hearing impaired therapies.
