Access Excellence - A national educational program that provides high school biology and life science
teachers access to their colleagues, scientists, and critical sources of new scientific information via the World Wide Web.

Animal Diversity WEB - University of Michigan Museum of Zoology.  Excellent site for scientific name of classes, species, etc.

Brain Connection - This site is one of the richest resources of up-to-date information about the brain including articles
about the developing brain and learning disorders.

CosmicQuest - Children's Museum of Indianapolis site containing a field guide to the universe.

Discovery Channel - This site has links to useful and enjoyable educational resources for students.

Dolan DNA Learning Center - Interactive video and animation walk students through many labs, with written explanations.

eNature - This searchable database of plant and animal species contains links to many great sites including online Field Guides.

ExploreScience.com - This site engages students with visual links to virtual experiments and detailed explanations of what
happened and why.

Exploring the Environment - A NASA Classroom of the Future site featuring inquiry-based environmental-science problems.

Extreme Science - Combines graphics and text on time, weather, space, Earth science, and animals; also links to maps from
around the world.

Franklin Institute Museum - This awesome site gives visitors an online glimpse into temporary exhibits at The Franklin Institute.
There is an extensive range of topics including bioscience, communications, computers, earth and physical sciences, energy,
health, math, oceanography, problem-solving, puzzles, space and transportation.

Hubble Space Telescope - Catch the wonder of outer space through the Hubble Space Telescope.

National Aeronautics & Space Administration (NASA) - This site centers on aeronautics and space research.

National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) - Their mission is to describe and predict changes in the earth's
environment, and conserve and wisely manage the nation's coastal and marine resources.

Nine Planets - This site is an overview of the history, mythology, and current scientific knowledge of each of the planets
and moons in our solar system.

Science Fair Central - This is the place to head for science project information.  It discusses the scientific method, tells how
to research a topic and develop a display, plus offers hints on how projects are judged.   

Science Learning Network - Contains many great links to science museums, news and hotlists.

Sierra Club - This organization works together to protect our communities and the planet.

Smithsonian Institution - This incredible site combines the best qualities of a museum visit with the unique
capabilities of online communication.
